“CoronaVirus UK” A Living interactive poem, by Trudy Howson
We are living through an unprecedented time in history. Experiencing a global health crisis, that affects everyone one of us. Enduring this, previously unimaginable, plague, has put our country to the test. I felt it important that I, as LGBT Poet Laureate, should mark and record this period with a poem that reflected our individual experience. Our voice, our feelings, our experience during this challenging time is important. We are the people who make up the Government bodies, the organizations the households…Society. I want there to be a record of what living through the Corona Virus means to us. Please take part in this Living Interactive Poem. “CoronaVirus UK.” Your responses to the questionnaire will be anonymous, so feel free to express your deepest thoughts and feelings. I will then bring together everyone’s responses and create a poem that reflects the reality of how it is for us.
